Born in the South and raised in the Northwest, Laura Johnson has taken her environment and turned it into art. A beachcomber at heart, she finds sea glass, shells, and driftwood to use as the foundation of her pieces, while integrating metals and natural fibers to enhance their original beauty.
She has studied art in college and throughout her life, worked for various craft vendors and artists, and was inspired by her Mother, who is an artisan at Pike Place Market in Seattle.
Her art continues to develop, as she brings new designs and pieces to her collection.
